BPI Velocity Stack
I've been running without a resonator for several years now, and I finally got around to installing a velocity stack today
Sorry, no pics of the actual install. It's attached directly to the rubber intake pipe that runs from the airbox to the resonator. The stack fits directly into the hose, so you don't need to coupler that comes with the kit (but I did use the hose clamps).
I don't know if it's boosting the power significantly, but it definitely improved the throttle response; it's noticeably smoother now. Not bad for $50

Now that I've had it installed for a few weeks, I'm liking it more and more. I think it took a little bit for the ECU to adjust, and now it's really running well. I guess it's a lot like Comptech's icebox for a lot less $

Sorry, it didnt' even occur to me at the time ... d'oh
I'm sure that there are similar parts that are cheaper, but I don't mind paying for quality; e.g., I think I've seen some sheet metal types at PepBoys. Pay once, cry once.
where can you buy that? i have looked at their website its like $50 bucks, costs more than a K&N filter :S
