i read that some people didn't replace the front dome lights because the blue leds are useless when you actually want to read something. Does anyone has a picture of the interior lights with the 50% conversion (blue leds on door and back dome only)?

Not true. I have the Blue LED replacement bulbs from Brian at tec-toyz.com and I love them. Not only can I see easily in my in my car but it looks so sick when you unlock the car at night. Plus, it's pretty cheap and Brian has basically every color you could want to make the interior glow. Even Super White for the peeps who want to "read" while they in they car....

That's what I did. In fact, I went one step further and replaced the front dome lights with slightly dimmer clear white bulbs...so they're not as intense when you get into the car at night. I love the way it looks!

Here's my brief write-up with pics:

I have the blue led interior conversion.
It looks sickkk at night and everyone is always amazed by how good it looks
I'd say the only downside is sometimes its hard to read little things like maps at night. But you could always get brighter ones.

I use the front mirror lights to see, and the front domes are blue and the back dome is white still for passengers.

It looks good becasue how often am i going to stare in the back when getting into my car.

Plus the mirror lights work and light enough, it jsut a nice blue hue for the front.

so I have a quick question on how to put the LEDs in?

I've got the covers off of the front door lights. I notice that the light bulbs are in some kind of white holder? Do I just pull the lights out or take the white part out with it?

I have the blue LED lights as well, doors, map lights and rear dome light. I get nice compliments. I use the vanity mirror lights to read with, they are pretty bright.
