Axxis Ultimate Pads on OEM rotors

Has anyone upgraded their OEM pads for performance pads and used them on OEM rotors? I am trying to figure out whether this is what is causing my bad wheel vibration while braking from 60mph+ (and hopefully not rotor warping).

Anyone done this before and experienced any problems?

How many miles on those stock rotors? I had axxis ultimates on aftermarket rotors, and they bite pretty hard. In my non-expert opinion, they stock rotors probably can't handle them. They are very touchy/grabby.

Try to re-bed them. If it doesn't take away the vibration, replace the rotor.

^ Thanks, I'll try that. I guess the worse that could happen is getting new rotora rotors and axxis pads

I love Axxis Ultimates. On my second set now on the TSX. Fourth set overall. If you can put up with the dusting, they are great.

Maybe try some Powerslot Cryo rotors

^^try using a synthetic wax on your wheels. That helped me alot with keeping dust off of them.

FYI, I switched to another brand after the Ultimates. I loved em too, but had to find something less aggressive in stop and go driving.

The Ultimates are grippy, but worth it if you need the bite. I find myself stopping a litttle too quick if I am not paying attention or get caught off guard. Dusting is def a pain with these rotors.
