yeah the 250 on a group buy has me skeptical.
I mean all the injens i see on ebay max out at like 225.
I thought the purpose on a group buy was getting it a tad bit cheaper(10percent???) I think the 250 may include commision or something lol.

well 250 is shipped. the retail price alone on these is listed as 295 or so (as stated by projectsx from the othersite)
just 10 percent off is already 260 something. thats before shipping. so 255 is a decent price on a group guy but i think that it is too much for an intake right now. just my thought

I'm interested in a CAI but i'm not buying the first one to market until I see what comptech has to offer and possibly a dyno of a stock airbox with k&n and resonator off.

although not a bad deal, I dont think it's a "great" deal like it says.
btw, never came to this site before. seems like you guy got a lot more "real" performance chats around here. looks like i will be hanging around here quite often.

revs are a little quicker. louder sound with the removal of the resonator. but probably not much in the area of actual gains. however a cheap mod. ordered a 180 degree mandrel bend aluminum intake pipe from jcwhitney and a cylinder k&n filter. cut the pipe to fit from the stop airbox down to where the resonator resides. ill try to get some pictures this weekend.

Well, it's ordered. I'm liking the engine without the resonator, and now I'm looking for a bit more midrange pull.
I have realistic expectations, but this is more of a setup for future mods.

I'll cover the Injen CAI install. I'll try to make some short notes on the resonator removal just in case with a link to Moda's stuff.

I won't have a dyno done at that point unless it's just super cheap.

Yeah i ordered mine already but unfortunately i wont have time to do the install untill late oct early november the earliest.
I work alot and have very little free time to spend in the garage right now .
I asked Ralph when i ordered mine and he said it came with instructions.
My biggest concern is how much work it takes to take off and reinstall the bumper if this is necessary?
i dont wanna break any clips or anything.

removal of the entire intake is pretty simple. removal of bumper is also very simple. just make sure you have a buddy help you put it on. kinda hard to try to clip bothsides in yourself. clips pop up with a flat head. the other fasterners are screws so dont worry about breaking the clips. if you do you can always buy the clips at acura.
