Any turbo kits in the works for the TSX? Or an LSD?
#2
At the recent SEMA, Honda, in conjunction w/ Ro_Ja, showcased a prototype Accord coupe that used a GReddy turbocharger. The significance of this is that this particular Accord had a TSX engine and transmission in it. But, that is the only significant development in the turbocharger area that I’ve heard thus far. I haven't heard anything from Cyber or HKS, but I haven't really been looking either. Slightly off topic, there is also the supercharger in the works from Jackson. As for LSDs, there are plenty of Honda/Acura LSDs floating about for (presumably) comparable chassis, like the for the RSX Type R and Accord EuroR, and other non-OE for similar platforms as well. However, I haven't heard of any TSX specific LSD's being available, and there is also the heavily debated issue of possible conflicts between the LSD and VSA.

The LSD subject has been discussed before with no conclusions. I'm also interested in it, but we cannot assume that the RSX-S LSD(or comparable product) will fit without documentation or testing. i believe Phantom Grip has something out for the TSX but it's not a true lsd. Food for thought: the TL has VSA and an LSD.

The conclusion is the jdm integra-r lsd will fit the tsx. VSA has been determined to not be an issue with an lsd(2004 6mt tl) A phantom grip will also work for a cheaper price.
At sema there were both HKS and Greddy prototype turbo systems. Who knows when they will become available. But it's coming.

On the subject of turbos, I must have missed the info on a the HKS turbo system. Was it fitted to a complete TSX, or TSX engine?
*Goes off to find more SEMA info…
