I think you need a belt, and its like $60 but i'm sure Kenny or another supercharger owner will chime in!

DUDE, post some pics of your car, it sounds sweet and i don't think i've seen any pics!!!!

It pretty much comes with all required parts. The only thing you may want to get later is gauges to monitor your Air/Fuel ratio and boost. You'll be fine without those things too though.

Hmm, well my car required a smaller belt than the one that Comptech provides. I don't know if it's due to the auto tensioner though.

^^ Yep, the auto tensioner requires a smaller belt. BTW, did you get your boost gauge setup?

There's a belt pictured in the instructions for the kit, so it must come with one:

Nah, i still haven't hooked up my boost gauge. I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time in the last two weeks. Next week i'll get it done hopefully. As for the belt, my auto-tensioner did not come with a new belt. The original Comptech belt was too long so it wouldn't work.

I see you've got an AT...what year is it? I ask because the only AT year the Comptech S/C is compatible with is the 04.

If you've got an 05+, the only way to use CT's S/C kit is to get an 04 ECU & immobilizer which will be an additonal $1k (if you can even find them).

I emailed Josh (Excelerate) and asked about this because i am kind of interested if they were coming out with a kit for the 06 5AT and he said they would be available at the end of september.....SO, it may not matter soon!!

Hondata has reflashes for the 04-06 TSX A/T and M/T except for the 05 AT. So yes there will be a kit for the 06 TSX A/T.

http://www.hondata.com/reflash.html

They will be available late Sept.

hm.. where did u go and buy the belt at then? did u install it at a shop and they told u the belt was too small?? how long is installation supposed to be? and is the gain worth it for all the money spent? or could it be more?? i was reading up and the PSI seems like it blows.... can it go higher?? or will it just blow way too much gass?? as for the supercharger.. u have to fill up on premium right?

Id say installation would hafta be around 6-8 hours. The reason why its a low boost setup is because for one the compression on our K24 is really high for f/i, also it will lean out at any higher boost levels and for some reason if you change out injectors to something with a higher CC rating nobody can find a way to run a smooth idle or even get the car to start without it flooding out. Also, you should be running premium in the car to begin with, so of course your gonna still need premium with the supercharger

I run a PLX Wideband O2 Gauge, but AEM makes a good one too.

I run a Stewart Warner Boost Gauge, but Autometer also makes good ones.

Yes, it is. I got mine from Josh @ Excelerate about a month ago, so I'd suggest you PM him for additional info.

WHO CARES IF SOMEONE ELSE IS BUYING THE PARTS FOR THE CAR, OR THE GAS, OR THE INSURANCE, OR THE CAR AS A WHOLE FOR THAT MATTER. keep modding if that's what you want to do. remember to be safe out there and enjoy ...

thats a pretty naive statement...Im not one to hate on someone cause their parents pay for everything for them, I just worry about their future when their parents are no longer there to support them in life.

Pretty sure that if you go supercharged without having headers, cat and exhaust, you won't make much power from it because you won't be able to get all the extra exhaust gases out of the engine
