I could be wrong, but couldn't you get less compression by changing the piston heads to a concave design?

Quote: HEMI?
HEMI is a concave cylinder head, not piston head. It helped assist in combustion by making it easier for the flame front to form after the spark plug ignited it. Intake and exhaust valves are also placed inline rather than across from each other, which aids in exhaust scavenging induction with a properly designed header. Although with today's engines it is more of a marketing gimmick used to capitalize on its historical mystique rather than something that makes a lot more power. On an interference engine with four valves per cylinder it doesn't really make any difference.

Quote: you mean cylinder heads?
they might change them to RSX-S heads to make more power, but you don't really need to worry all that much about the compression. Other turbo k series seem to be doing fine on it.
The TSX cylinder head is the same head as in the RSX-S. Also, dished pistons are a popular method of lowering compression (if you're planning on replacing them for high boost levels anyway).

Quote: Today I went with a friend to drop off his TSX at the dealer in Montclair for some service. On the way there, we stopped by a shop to check for prices on Tein SS Coilovers for his car. The funny thing was that the shop owner owned a modded TSX. He showed us some pictures and I noticed that he had an intercooler. He ended up telling us about how his car was at a shop getting tuned. He said he will have it next week. It was a really nice CG TSX. Fenders were widened. It had a Kenstyle kit. He also told us to come by next week because he would have his car by then. My friend and I are going by next week to see his setup. He said he has no clue what EMS the shop was using for his car. Lets just wait and see. I will provide you guys with details when I find out.
next week has come and gone...

Especially considering the TSX's intake manifold is on the front of the engine, not the rear.

there were few people had the turbo set up but couldnt figured it out the engine management so they ended up parting it out. I wouldn't say no way!

That is the DAZZ TSX, a car built to sit in a showroom and advertise new wheels. They're using the HKS F-CON for an ECU, which is a more generic part that to my mind can't run the VSA, climate control, or gauge cluster. Also it will cost you an arm and a leg (as well as a long road trip) to tune as only authorized HKS dealers can tune it. I wouldn't pay upwards of $2000 for the blingingest, generic HKS ECU if you held a gun to my head.

That car is a show car, not a street car. It is anybody's guess how well it runs (if at all) because it doesn't need to.
