Another Noob Question for ya!

So anybody want to let me and all the other noobs what the difference between a Turbo Kit and a Super charger is? How effective are they? Do they void warrantys? and Since these are not an option yet, What is the first Performance mod would you get right now for the TSX?

Turbos and Supercharges effective do the same thing, increase power to the engine by increasing air pressure and fuel mixture. However, they do it in 2 completely different ways.

A turbo uses the exhaust of the engine to spool up the fans that push more air into the engine.

A supercharger uses a pulley off the engine.

Typically, superchargers are best at the initial start of the engine because unlike a turbo, it doesn't require exhaust gases to create power, just the pulley moving. A turbo is generally better at creating power at higher revs because it doesn't steal power from the engine by having a parasitic relationship (ie the pulley doesn't rob the car of power).

Some might not consider this a "performance mod," but I'd first upgrade the tires.

i am soooo gonna get lighter wheels and better tires when i get my income tax refund for the up coming spring/summer.
I think right now its pretty safe to say the Injen Intake is the thing to get as well.
