All good, no problems at all. In fact, I don't even think about it. The car just drives better.

It's all gravy. I still consider it the best mod I have ever done. Can't imagine driving my car without it.

The dealer never resets the ECU when you take them in for service, correct?

"never" is such a strong word. Under normal maintenance they wouldn't. But, say you have a malfunction or the ECU goes bad (it could happen). If the dealer suspects that the ECU may be the cause of a problem I wouldn't put it past them to reflash it to the factory specs (sort of like resetting) to see if the problem goes away. Or worse, noticing that it has been reflashed, blaming the reflash for the problem, and having you pay to reflash it to factory spec.

I'd be curious to see Kurt Bradley's thoughts on this.

Well... i guess if it's under warranty, its possible. But if it's already out of warranty and they are going to charge you for the ECU flashing back to factory spec, you have to sign the estimate before they are allowed to do that. Otherwise, i dont think you legally have to pay.

All good. The car is simply better with no apparent drawbacks.

Pure Tuning in Toledo OH has sent mine in for the second time to try and make it work in my TSX 04 AT. Hondata seems to be trying to correct the situation. Will know more the end of this week. In the mean time they have sent me another ECU for my car so I can drive same.

Are you referring to the hesitation at around 5K RPM or is there another situation that you are experiencing?

This is another problem that I discussed in another post. The car is good until 5000 rpm on the dyno then would just go flat and lose power. Hondata has the ECU now and are trying to work on the problem and see if it is just something in my ECU. They, Hondata and Pure Tuning so far have been very nice about trying to fix this. I just hope they can. I will keep all posted. They sent me another ECU for my car so I can still drive same.

Wow, that's awesome that they do that. They really do seem to care about their customers.

^^^^well if they don't.....
they probably won't have any customers, especially with TSX's market.
