after makeket strut bar question

ive heard front stut bars dont add very much handling increase, ive seen a couple that are on ebay for around $50 didnt know if anyone has used one and what theyre xperiences were, and is it worth the $120 more for a brand like nuespeed

hate to admit it but i would only be doing it for the look, trying to dress up the engine bay and i think one with blue mounts on the ends would look good, i would keep my factory strut bar installed of course

That's what I put on my 05 (ebay). It's polished aluminum and I think it looks pretty cool. But.... I harbor no illusions about it's contribution to any possible increase in performance.

If the car doesn't have one from the factory, adding one that utilizes the correct anchor points and construction will have a noticeable effect on handling.

If the car has a factory one and it's being replaced by a different one, the replacement can have a positive or negative effect due to the design. The positve or negative effect can be magnified if the car also has upgraded suspension/tires.

If the car has a factory one, adding an additonal one will increase the chassis stiffness but you may not realize any gain unless the car also has other suspension/tire upgrade and the car is being pushed to a higher limit.
