Accord Hybrid Dyno
I missed this on vtec.net until today. Accord v6 with IMA dyno overlayed with a stock av6 dyno, both are autos.
Now imagine an IMA tsx
Peak numbers +20hp and +20lbft(through most of the rev range)

very cool... maybe honda wont make a 260hp engine with a turbo to compete with rivals liek the mazda 6 mps and liberty gt (legacy) but instead a 260hp hybrid - now that'd be cool

THat dyno only runs from 4k up because the accords don't have an SS mode so they just have to mash the pedal and record on the downshift. But that extra 20lbf from the elecric motors is definitely available just off idle.

Aren't you tired of me owning you
Anyway, I've always said if the Accord Sedan looked half decent I'd have bought it instead of the TSX. The Hybrid is only 1K more than a AT TSX here in Canada so what a great deal. Hmmm, forget the IS250. A restyled 06 Accord Sedan Hybrid maybe the ticket.

Provench(who?) and I actually both almost bought accord v6s before the tsx but we both just couldn't stomach the styling. Else I would have bought one easily. Although now that I've had a tsx I don't know if I could give up the projector HIDs and really good handling easily.

Else, I'd be in a Hybrid already.
