5zigen Pro Racer A spec (single exhaust)

Look at what I got!!

the look isn't my top choice, but for the weight savings, and for it being amazingly quiet, especially because of my commute from SD to LA, it's the perfect exhaust...

sorry for the bad pics, if I can find my battery charger for my cam, I'll have better ones soon

the 3 cars that got me to make this decision

and thanks to NOEL for allowing me to see how AMAZING a single sided exhaust can look...

I'm gonna drop the car further with coils and finish the OEM kit...
should look great!
right now it looks a little ricer to be honest...(especially because it says PRO RACER on the cannister..haha...but it's JDM!!)

God bless

Kevin

Nice exhaust man. I was considering the single-exit route for a while for the same reasons you did. I'm happy with my Tanabe but I like the look you have going on for your TSX.

Thanks guys!
I actually had a chance to get a used Greddy SP2 for about the same price...
but the noise factor, and the fact that every meet I go to it's
evo2, sp2, evo2, sp2, stock, comptech, evo2, sp2....

kinda wanna be different this time...

it's so quiet that sometimes I wish it made more sound...but it sounds amazing WOT,if u can mentally cancel out the intake...which is SOOO LOUD with hondata

Jason- thanks man, much respect to your ride man, and your photography is getting better and better, keep it up!!

godfather- hey bro, I do think they have a part from HONDA that plugs that hole, but I'm getting the OEM lip kit soon, will decide then...good luck to your sale!

Matt- Sup man...thanks for the steering wheel again! love it more and more everyday, somehow I think your car looks more adequate with the twin..because you have the OEM wing, and there were no blackouts for your car, and along with your amazing advan rims..I think the Tanabes are awesome!!

Big Ben- hey bro, good choice...especially for another NBP! hopefully it won't be too quiet for you...can't wait to see your NEW one! haha...I had to use some products to TRY to shine mine up

God bless

Kevin

3 cars? I only see 2.

I like the look of the dual exhaust better, but the quietness of the 5zigen might be worth change. from your experience, how much quieter is the 5zigen compared to the greddy sp2?

here you go...the third car...and the one that inspired me to do this...
NOEL, a mod from the other forum...his car is the look I'm going for...

I've never had the SP2 before...but I've had the Greddy EVO2, which is said to be louder than the SP2, it's definitely louder than the 5zigen, but WOT wise, I would say it's deeper, but the 5ZIGEN really screams

By the way..Noel's car has a FEEL'S exhaust...

definitely more expensive..but it's the single sides look that inspired me

Comptech is really quiet. I was thinking that the 5zigen would be louder.

How do I plug that hole? If so, I'll do this. The big problem I've got with the dual exhaust thing right now is that really, it seems like it's still for looks.

http://www..com/forums/showthread.ph...single+exhaust

this is the thread

single exhaust is always lighter..and more power...because our cars are not designed with true dual exhausts...it's just for looks...

but then I went for the Single for looks also!!

ya, noel's ride is tight.

i too have been considering the single exhaust.

i just find the exhaust a little too big. what's the diameter on yours? 2.5"? maybe 2" might fit me better.

You know, this whole censoring of "the other forum" is pretty stupid.

Nice choice. I've been considering this exhaust as well. Where did you purchase this and how much did it run you?
