Im looking into getting the A-spec lip kit for my 06 PWP...where is the cheapest place that carries these kits? Also, is all mounting hardware included with the lip kit? I would like to hear from people that have also installed it themselves, and would like to know the level of difficulty involved with installing it. Is there drilling involved or does it just uses bumper clips etc. Thanks for your guys help

 

kits come with all clips/screws, and uses existing hardware on your bumpers.

06 kit needs cutting and drilling.

there was a thread about where to buy the kits made a few days ago. curry acura recently had a 10% off sale on all spoilers and underbody spoilers. you can see if it's still going on. or try hondaacuraworld.com. they have it for like 900-something.

I got my 06 bodykit from hondaacuraworld.com
Cost was $911 shipped. This was pretty much the best price i could find.

I installed the kit myself (alone). The install wasn't all that hard, just time consuming, as you have to remove the front and rear bumpers.

There is a small amount of drilling and cutting, but nothing to technical.

Definately recommned you do it yourself, to save some money and for the sense of accomplishment.

PS: they don't send install instructions with the kit, but somebody made a post about a year ago with a download link to the instructions.

actually, i have a question about the 06 a-spec lip kit too.. does the lip actually reduce the car's ground clearance at all, or is it the same height as the current bumpers/skirts? thanks
