06' rear turn signal lights
Hey guys,
I have an 06' tsx. I want to change the back rear turn signal lights from red to amber to match the turn signal upfront. Does anybody know if they sell this kind of aftermarket part?

I'd like to know this, as well. I hate this trend to all-red taillight clusters. I think amber turn signals are more visible and easier to differentiate from brake lights. I find it ironic that for years, American cars used all-red taillights and European and Japanese cars used amber rear turn signals. Now the trend seems to be reversing. More American brands are using amber rear turn signals and foreign brands are going all red. Can you even buy an Acura with an amber rear turn signal?

I'll have 05 JDM Tails for sale shortly if you want those I don't think there were any changes from the 05 back end to the 06 so they should fit. And those give you the amber blicker output. Shoot me a PM if you are interested

for those that dont know honda code names here is a key for you
dc5 = RSX(JDM Integra)
dc2 = Integra(JDM and USDM)

Amber tailed USDM 4-door Accords: 88-97, last 2 yrs of the 98-02, first 2 years of 03-06 and I think all the pre-88 were ambered. Also, I do believe all except last 2 years of the USDM Integra were amber tailed

Yeah, I hate the red turn signals. You can't really notice it until it's too late. Thanks for all the input you guys!!!! Hopefully I can find what I'm looking for. I'll try a search and see if I find something. I'll let you guys know if I find something.

TSX USDM Red turn signals are not very visable compared to other cars implementation. My opinion is that the size of the blinking area is very small and too close to the rear tail light. Therefore is blends in with that running light. And the JDM amber on the Accord (TSX), is much more noticeable due to the differentiation of color.
My 01 Accord Coupe has red rear signals and they are very clear when you are signaling. the size of the area blinking is very large and separated from rear tail (running lights)
The current TL has all red rear signals and due to the design it is very obvious when the signal is on. regardlesss that they are LED technology, the design is just better implemented.
The list of successul all rear red lights can go on forever.
Of course from a pure design perspective, the matter of preferring all red is very subjective. From a practicality perspective, studies can be done, trending can be done etc. Though it is normal for most car owners to desire style over substance, which is fine, but it is only one aspect of design. This is coming from an industrial designer, so my opinion will be a little different than your average car owner.

My problem with red turn signals has nothing to do with style or being different. It has everything to do with visibility to other drivers. I simply think it's a safety issue. The more visible you are to other drivers, the less likely they are to run into you. That's all.
