06 Auto TSX reflash now available

Now available.

The red lines hand drawn in from 6500rpm to 6900 rpm are what the torque curves should look like if the torque converter was not unlocking. Otherewise the power whould show artificially high.

Full details here:

http://www.hondata.com/reflash_tsx_06.html

Thanks to Chris Acosta for the use of his TSX.

Congrats 06 ATs! that torque curve rocks

OTOH, its getting pretty tough to watch everyone else get a chance at this upgrade. Feels like being picked last on the kickball team back in elementary school.

Hondata, is this reflash available in Australia. I am itching to have it done as the 6000rpm Vtec point just takes the pleasure away when trying to enjoy the car.

If not is there anyway to have this done quicker than sending to the US.

Cheers

We are testing an ECU for the 2004-2005 Accord manual transmission in Australia and England at the moment. If you have an Auto I suggest you get me the part number off the ECU.

I will be travelling to Australia in September and will be doing some Accord testing.

What happened to the 05 auto reflash??? Did it just get skipped? I would really really love to have an 05 auto reflash, without having to buy an ECU from an 04 and THEN get it reflashed. Please tell me I am not the only disgruntled 05 AT owner here

Very impressive gains. I will definately be getting the reflash this summer...can't wait.

In the meantime, whoever is the first to get the 06AT reflash...please post a review.

Wow, big difference between 2004 and 2006 models. I wonder how much of that is from testing artifacts and how much is from improvements for 2006.

I am guessing the ECU is in the same place as per TSX.

Can someone point me in the direction of where this is exactly.

Once I have located will PM you with the part number.

Cheers

It's been out for months now. I bought my car in october as a leftover and saw posts on it in the works back then. It was only shortly after that i've seen multiple threads on it.

Can I use the clubrsx.com order mechanism to start my order now, even though its not updated to include the 06 AT yet?

I don't see why it matters what clubrsx thinks, as long as I fill out all the information correctly and be extra sure to label mine as an 06 AT ECU...

I think if I do it now, I can get the box by friday, ship it out monday, be driving Wednesday......

Why wait for a stupid box? Just order it through another dealer that will send the label via email today, drop the parts in your own box and ship it out. You will get it back this Friday instead of next week.

Thanks Doug for the reflash. I've driven my car a lot harder now since I've gotten it. I should be ordering my Comptech header and intake soon. Care to test it after for the results?

Any recommended dealers that can do this promptly? The one mentioned earlier knocks off $50 if you do your own shipping.

Wow, they're really pounding those TSX reflashes out now.

I would guess one for the 05 AT will come around in a few months or so, judging by how frequently they've been releasing new ones. Im not suprised they did the 06 AT reflash first out of curiosity of what the improvements would be.

Those dyno comparisons seem a little off though, unless the reflashed 06 had more parts on it than just the reflash. (The 04 dyno chart stated clearly it was an otherwise stock car with the reflash only.)

06 tsx's have different parts for airflow here and there, maybe that accounted for the difference

My TSX is completely stock with a little over 3,000 miles. Actually the dyno sheet reflects the worst of the reflash compared to the best of the stock test runs. There were other test runs done when they first had the reflash which were a lot higher than expected. The car was running on 91 octane Chevron gas, and the results diminished slightly when Mobil gas was put in. Doug, please correct me if my statements are off.

xacepro57x, I assume you were the test car then? Do you have any of the test results that showed some of the more peak gains? (Instead of "worst of the best").

Also, JTso's idea was great, if someone could point out one of the authorized dealers that sends you email shipping labels and you do the rest yourself, I'd be grateful. It looks like I'll be able to schedule some time next week to do this (couldn't do it yesterday... not going to ship over the weekend now). But really it depends on getting 3 days when I can use my GFs car.
