reflash not detectable.. not worth the money, but others will think different... doesnt matter when you flash as long as you have broken your car in

I got it through clubrsx. I don't know what you mean about "how they treat you," but everything was automatic. I did the box-method where they send you a box and all the shipping labels necessary. Turnaround time was 3 days as expected:
Day 1 = Send out box
Day 2 = Hondata receives, reflashes, and sends back
Day 3 = I receive and enjoy.

I did it with about 14k on the clock and wish I had done it earlier. Acura won't notice you've done it unless they pull your rev logs from your ECU and discover 7600 rpm revving, which is otherwise impossible in the AT. They really don't have any need to do that unless you've been in an accident and they pull the data log, but that's the chance you always take with modding.

Show me 1 person who actually has it and doesn't think its worth the money they spent on it. I thought it was expensive too, then I got it and was extremely satisfied.

Mr. Maniak doesn't know of whence he speaks.

again. To the OP, if you feel like you want the reflash, by all means get it. It's a very nice mod. Unless you inform the dealer you have it, he'll never know.

What is a "relash?"

And "rsxclub" isn't a dealer for Hondata. Maybe they only specialize in relashes?

Its where you lash your TSX so hard it actually revs to 7600 RPM.

and, I agree, why not deal with a hondata dealer directly.

Since the Hondata, intake and header are tuned together, you're on the right track. You've got the intake coming, so maybe go for the reflash next, then the header

I even did the 05 at ecu swap for an 04 at ecu with hondata.

It was so worth the steal. (drkangel did a tranny swap so he had a at ecu with hondata left)

With me based in canada, I went the clubrsx route as it was te simplest way to ship it out (opt to ship myself).

Clubrsx is very straightforward and give u details through emails. Talk about fast shipping to canada. Got it done in 3 working days. Shipped out december 27th and received the following week tuesday. This was during the xmas/new years season. The hondata guys so committed they work during the holidays!

With u being based in the US, its probably done faster.

Did you have to pay PST/GST or duty?

Then you should buy a different car. Either that or buy a CT supercharger and be done with it.

Isn't midrange power considered "more power"?

Besides, the biggest benefit of the reflash in my opinion is unlocking the power from a header and intake. When paired together, there's a significant power increase in both midrange AND peak areas of the curve.

If you did your research before getting the reflash you'd have known there was no top end power gain.

tsxdriver's dyno is in the main dyno thread, and psykotik maniak is just bashing the reflash in favor of nitrous, he doesn't have it.

What's more stupid? The suggestions I made, which are legitimate, or the idiot who buys a car like the TSX then bitches about the lack of power? BTW, when you make a post calling someone elses post stupid, try checking your spelling. You only come off sounding like a moron.

Even if the reflash did provide good peak gains, it wouldn't work with your bottle plans anyway.

When's the bottle arriving?

A dyno plot with AFR trace would be awesome to see as well (and for the long-term safety of your own engine, too).

Well, the safest way to do it is to test it on a dyno right after installing it (unless you're running a wideband with logging capabilities). There's no way to be sure the little box that's supposed to maintain the correct mixture is actually doing so unless you subject the car to different driving conditions while monitoring it. If I hadn't gotten a dyno after the Hondata reflash, the "buggy" 04 5AT program that was making my post-VTEC AFR shoot dangerously high (17:1!) might not have been diagnosed and fixed by Hondata until much later.

Besides, with a dyno you'll also know what sort of gains your time and money got you. Then you can keep the graph handy for bragging rights.
