04' ECU in 05' = Supercharger ???

I know that people have used 2004 ECU's in 2005's in order to get the Hondata reflash. But since the 2004 & 2005 are virutally identical could you use a 2004 ECU in order to get a supercharger for a 2005 or would there be other issues. I have read somewhere in here that once Hondata comes out with a reflash for the 2005 AT then the supercharger will follow shortly. This made me wonder if the ECU is the only thing holding back a supercharger for the 2005 AT. Anyone know?

The ECU is what most likely holding things back. It's always about engine management.

Yeah it would work. NJTsx man has this setup if I remember correctly.

And... with JTso. It's the engine management delaying things.

It was pretty steep price.. I bought the ecu used for $400 i believe. It also came with a spare key and immobilizer, so I didn't have to have the dealer match the set. So I have 2 ecu's just in case I want to swap back ;-)

I recommend you use an 04 ECU reflashed for the supercharger. It will work fine. The only functional difference between the 04 and the 05 is that the 05 ECU reports the VIN number at smog time if the smog station diagnostic tool asks for it.

Thanks Hondata. But since I just had to fork over 2400 for my wife's college tuition out of my supercharger fund, I'm thinking by the time I get enough money again the supercharger will be available for the 2005 AT.?!?!?!?
