Im not sure if Kenstyle fitment is made for the 2006 model yet, but they are sold as an option in Japan for Acuras at the dealership which can account for their quality. You shouldnt have a problem, but contact a distributor and ask them about fitting.

From my comparisons, to get a clean, gap less fit all around, you would need to switch all the body panels forward of the a-pillars. That means the hood, the bumpers, the grille, the front quarter panels, and the headlamps all would need to be changed. Otherwise, the headlights don't match up just right, the grilles definitely don't match, and there would be all kinds of weird gaps all over the place.

he could get a cheap knockoff fiberglass kenstyle and have it custom done, since it requires some work to get it to fit right anyways

Kenstyle bumper completely replaces the OEM bumper and has a grill integrated on it, so there should be very few problems. They also have holes drilled in them that are matched for the TSX. The people whom I have spoken with say that the genuine Kenstyle body kit matches the body nearly flawlessley beside the minor adjustments that are required with any bodykit, as xizor stated. If you can remove and re-install your bumper, you can do this project without professional installation. I will be investing in one of these kits soon, and I would recommend that you buy a genuine product to save time...but it will cost a bit more, and in the case of kenstyle, quite a bit more.

The problem is that there are minor fitment variances between the stock 04-05 bumpers and the 06 ones. Acura made sufficient adjustments that it won't be as simple as making minor adjustments. The headlights are of slightly different dimensions, the angles and cuts of some of the body panels are slightly different, the hood is slightly different, etc. There are a lot more changes than one might think so while you might take the kenstyle bumper that fits the 04-05 and attempt to fit it, you may discover that there are a lot more changes you'll need to make in order for it to fit correctly.

You're correct, but that's if you're dealing with a 04-05 TSX. The question at hand is what is required in order to install the kit to an '06 TSX. If that's the case, he should refer to CGTSX2004's post.

[Edit] Sorry, posted a tad bit late.

I know I may be going against my own advice, but if you really know what you are doing, the knock offs can be done. Check out what my good buddy CJams did for just under $700...
