0-60 sec improvement from Hondata reflash?

I was curious of the acceleration improvements from going from a stock 04 AT to having the Hondata ECU reflash. I know there is a HP/torque increase but didn't know if this reflects in a better 0-60 sec time. Same ? on the other popular mods i.e.-intake, exhaust, CAI.

I'm just getting into this so sorry for the newbie questions. My first mod was the Tein Basics and Comtech RSB and now I'm hooked Thanks in advance for your help.

i am sure there'll be improvement....
the hp and torque gain is at mid range......so it should improve the timing

Aside from the hp and torque gains the fact that the redline is raised by 300 rpm allows you to wind it out further, therefore getting you to 60 a little bit quicker. I don't know if there are any proven 0-60 time differences, but I can tell you that it is a little better. JTso has a video of a 0-60 run, albeit with more than just Hondata. I believe his time was 6.34.

The higher redline and lower vtec point allows you to land in vtec after the 1-2 shift (not sure if that also applies to AT but it does to MT)

Yeah it does apply to the AT too. You can stay in Vtec the whole time

You don't count, your vtec is even lower than that.

he's in vtec simply blipping the throttle.

Wait... does the vtec actuation only base on rpm? Does it also base on the load from the map sensor? The Hondata S200 uses both rpm and load for the vtec actuation...

It is load/boost based in the SC program between 3k-5k, not sure about the regular reflash

I was actually talking about back in the day when I had the reflash only. I remember being able to rev to 7600, shifting, and staying in Vtec
