So the RL has this as an option right?

we can't add this to the TSX can we? that'd would be great and worth any amount of $$$$ to me.

Yeah, unfortunately you can't add OEM XM Traffic. The RL navi or aftermarket Pioneer Navi's are the units that have the XM traffic capability. The XM traffic also only works in the major cities.

Someone needs to hack the system, I have a hard time believing that Acura added the same Alpine system as the RL to the TSX and TL but decided to leave one feature off. As a manufacturer, it would probably be easier and cheaper to prduce the same head units but just not turn on certain features for the lower model cars.

if it's the same exact system, it must be possible. i hesitate to think that they are exactly the same. but if they are...... someone must figure this out!

Alpine doesn't have XM traffic available via the aftermarket yet, so it would probably be difficult to find some type of add on module. Good luck though guys. I would try to hit up Elduderino in the a/v section and see if he has seen anything from Alpine at the CES.

I have a Pioneer N2, and I've been thinking about adding the XM NavTraffic module, but I've decided to put it on hold until after I get my supercharger.

I wish I had a spare RL hangin around so I could swap out the nav system with the TSX Nav. I bet it can be done, but it would most likely cost about $2k

Yes! The TSX navi is great as it is, but the RL navi is even better believe it or not. specially since it has live traffic updates.
