XM Radio Station/ Program Title

i just traded in a 2004 Honda Accord that had XM radio. On the Accord, when using XM radio, the title of the program appeared and stayed on the display at the top of the dash.

With the 2006 TSX only the channel number appears and stays on

Is there a setting so I can have it show the program or artist?

THANKS

First off, is your TSX a navi or non-navi? For my 2005 navi, the station name and program title definitely shows up on the navi screen when you're in the Audio mode. It has been a year since I cancelled my XM subscription, but I vaguely remember text also scrolls on the center top information display (between the driver and passenger temperature display).

For me, 6MT w/Nav, if you hold down the audio button, you can change the top display to any of the fields that is displayed on the audio menu on the nav, ie. artist, song, station. etc...

I have an '06 without navi. Yes, you can display station name, category, artist, or song title. I'm not positive on the specific button, I think "Disp"? It's in the upper right corner. The information will show up on the stereo display.

I leave mine on artist name. When a new song is about to start the new artist first displays and then the song title.

I'm not sure if you have to set this up again after turning the car off and re-starting.

hey Bulldoghockey, on your '06 w/o navi do you still have the aux input in the console? if so then i'm guessing your XM is hooked into the head unit behind the dash right? if u could let me know that'd be great cuz i'm considering getting XM/Sirius but would like it "built in" so that the aux port remains free.
