I just bought my '07 TSX yesterday and am trying to figure out the XM radio. It comes with the 3 months free so do you need to activate it? Because right now, it seems I am only getting 4 channels on each (XM1 and XM2) when I try to scan it just keeps coming back to the same ones. Hope this isn't too stupid of a question, I'm new at this

 

The dealer went through the radio controls when I picked my 2008 last week. I don't remember scanning XM, just tuning to the number on the chart they gave me with the car.

 

I was using the seek button at first and missing a ton of channels until I realized I had to use the tuning knob to get all the channels the seek button bypasses.

 

The dealership should have activated the free trial for you. Try using the dial on the right side of the radio and if it still doesn't work, call the dealership. They may have forgotten to activate it for you.

 

I had this same problem too after I got mine activated. Like the other posters have stated try using the tuner dial to see if you can pick up individual channels.
