XM radio

it has been discussed before, but i want to ask again

my car was delievered july 1st, 2006, and i know it has 3 free months of XM program.

now it's been almost 5months, and when i turned it on last night (i only use aux and 6 CD, used XM 3~4 times in 5 months), it worked perfectly with every channel available.

a XM promotion was sent by Acura around mid-august i remember, and i didn't send anything because i did not want XM. didn't really need it...

am i just getting free XM ?

same thing happen to you guys? just wondering

They probably forgot to switch off your service.

If you delay renewing, they eventually will send you a deal that you can't refuse like one year for 70 bucks or something like that.

I like XM and listen to BBC constantly. I can't do without it now.

If you never turn it on the radio may not yet "know" it is supposed to be disabled. If you tried to listen to it for more than 15 minutes it might finally go away (to activate it you have to leave it on for 15 minutes so it picks up its activation signal, the same concept may apply for deactivation too). How long did you listen?

Free XM. Some people have gotten it for quite some time. Then again, this 'deactivation' 15 min theory seems plausible as well.

I would change your username ASAP, the XM Police will probably be at your house any minute.

They just want to get you hooked. Maybe they know you didn't use it for the first 3 months, so they're extending your trial until you're addicted...
