XeonMatch Fogs Installed

I just got done installing my Hoen Xeon Match replacement fog light bulbs... I pulled in a dark grage to take a look and they do just what the name says... They are about a 95% match to the Xeon headlights....and look AWESOME compared to the yellow bulbs Acura give us.

I really want to post some pics of my car.... I have done several mods already but I don't know how to get my pics up on the site.

Current:
2005 Acura TSX / Navi
Silver/Ebony
M3 rear lip spoiler
Moda R6 18"x8" rims
Kumho 235/40/18 Ultra High Performace Tires.
OEM Fog Lights w/ Xeon Match Bulbs
20% Tint all the way around
Chome "TSX Lic. Plate Frame.
Removed front lic. plate bracket.

I'd like to see pictures of these. I recently got a set of yellow H11 bulbs for the OEM fogs. The stock bulbs are neither white nor yellow, and I prefer to have fogs that are decidedly yellow (around 2250K color temp).

This is because the yellow color produces less glare when it reflects off of fog or snow, which is the whole point of fogs to begin with (this is also why they're so close to the ground). Just my personal preference though.

Unfortunately on the TSX they are largely for looks, as they cannot be turned on and off independently of the low beam Xenons. So yeah I'd like to see pics of yours because I'm betting some true white 4500K bulbs (or whatever they happen to be) are pretty snazzy looking.

Do those go in the cutouts for the OEM fogs?

Cut holes in the black plastic inserts that are in the OEM location. Not the best solution, they are not secure enough for my liking and it's noticable up close... it's been on my list of things to do over a year now. But it's held up ok so far.

Ah yeah, that's actually the main reason I got the OEM fogs from the dealer when I bought the car. Then I realized they only came on when the HIDs were on (not cool) and turned off when the high beams came on (cool). Now I may just rewire my own switch for them - the new stalk with the fog switch integrated into it is what makes it so they'll only come on when the HIDs are on, and the only way to work around this is to install an independent switch yourself - no rewiring of the relay will help matters.

I wanna get a set of REAL hids and put 'em in the fogs. That'll definitely be one of the last things I do to the car though. I think it'll add a nice touch!

I was told by the dealership, which installed fog lights in our Tsx that the wiring so as the fog lights come on only together with the headlights is mandated by the regulations on vehicle technical specifications (it was in MD). I vaguely recall such regulations also being effective in Europe. This make sense - if you need lights, then the main vehicle light system (front AND rear) must be on. What matters is not only what you can see but also that your car is seen by others.
At least in that sense, foglights on Tsx are not "just for cool look".
