Wow! Actually got dealer to replace rotors and pads!
Hey guys,
Just figured i'd report that i actually got the dealer to replace the pads and rotors without trying to machine them. They didn't even ask really... i report braking vibration and they just called me on the phone and said that they replaced them.
So i guess i'll be ok for another 20k miles until i have to replace them again. Which at that time i'll upgrade.
On a side note... i noticed my air pressure was a little low on one tire to the point where the stock tire was flatspotting. Thats the tire with a little leak and my replacements haven't come in from tirerack yet. I didn't do any highway driving, but since i was in a huge hurry, i didn't have time to put air in the tire. Do you think i did any damage to my suspension like that?
thanks

How many miles do you have on your tsx? I just hit 21,000.. and I just called my dealer friday gonna drop it off sunday night for the same issue. Hopefully I will get lucky but ain't gonna count on it. They will probably just resurface them..

My rotors warped around 15K. Granted, when I first got the car, I was driving aggressively but obviously these rotors aren't that great. I think I'll save myself the hassle and upgrade to Rotora's or Brembo's.

Are you sure they're warped? I can't imagine a street driven car generating enough heat to warp rotors.
Could be the pads are not properly bedded in. Read...

I tracked that car with stock brakes 3 times and never had a problem.
I'd wager 85% or more of the "warped rotors" we read about on this and other forums are simply uneven pad deposits caused by improper break-in.

Well, free rotor and brake pads and rotors are great if you don't have to get them replaced often, I've my front set replaced at 23k then 25k miles... now on third set of rotors and pads
I rather have brakes that just work well
but all in all, I honesly think it's the brake pads that's causing the wrapped rotors, vibration, squeaks...
