haha nice one... but no... TSX would have been in my mind, if it was available in v6... so never thought about TSX, only TL baby!

I'm planning on it unless the next RL is that good. It would have to be far sportier than it's current form though. So I'll either do that or downscale and go with a Prius or something, and just use my Vette to get my speed fix.

NO, not even if I have the extra cash. The headlights are too small for the car, don't like the front bumper, don't like the tail lights, don't like the "line" on the sides, and it's made in America.

Nope.
I just drove one for the first time last week. I like the car in general but it doesn't grab me. Loved its power and the V6 snarl but I think the TL has too many near-misses:
-exterior design - too busy, too many angles and surfaces
-interior design - again, too busy
-interior quality - the GM style cover over the cup holders? no thanks.
-bland wheels
-not as nimble as our precious-s-s-s-s-s
Then again, the Brembos did rock. And the DVD audio was nice too—while I was parked. I'll still keep the TSX, thank you very much.
…Then again, again, who knows what the next-gen (2010?) will be like.

That cassette deck would come in handy if I ever wanted to relive my gangsta rap days. My collection is about 75 tapes strong released during 89 - 91. I was such a wanabee!!!
Long live the cassette era. Since then, I've not remebered many song titles, such is the level of CD disease I suffer from. #1, #2, #3...what the hell's that song called??!
Back to topic, I'd trade straight up for a dark blue TL only if Acura gave me $200 for gas money each month. I'd be guzzling the shit with a 6mt TL. They'd have to throw in the 18s as well. They're a must.
TSX for now and forever...
TL only if I marry a stupid, rich girl, then the TSX goes to my mistress.:-*

No thanks...I"m happy with the TSX. I liked the TL, but it's a different kind of car. I'm happy with my small nimble TSX, and am not looking forward to going back to a bigger and heavier car like I had in the past.

No, I'm content. I'd trade it for a MT TSX though Any NBP 6MTers out there cursing their decision NOT to get an AT??

And yes, I would trade my TSX for a TL.

Once you get the hang of operating a MT, you have eyes and ears and and a brain and can tell what gear you should be in and what gear you'll need to be in a lot better than a bunch of hydraulic valves and computer chips.
Usually.

I like the new TL much better than the previous one, but as they say, the TSX is for the young exec sporty nimble, whereas the TL pleases the wife and kids. I may be married, but to us, the TL didn't seem as exciting to drive, even with a bigger engine.

if it was an even swap then yes, otherwise no...ive been seeing a bunch of TLs on the road lately and for some reason i still feel the tsx looks better, like the TL is missing something (maybe side mirr blinkers, chrome window trim and handles)

I'd be all over the new TL as opposed to the TSX. The TSX's size difference makes it seem like such a small childrens car. Coming from a CLS I don't think I could bear it. Plus the TSX's looks are almost a petite TL in my opinion. All of the amenities make the TL a much more attractive car in my opinion. The handling was also greatly improved over the TLS and CLS, yet the TSX's handling seemed fair at best. The TL felt more solid when I drove it as opposed to the rolling feeling of the TSX. Also, even though I test drove a 6MT TSX, I felt as if it was boring to drive. Some have said it was due to the flat tq curve but I think it's just due to the fact that there's very little umph to that small 4 cylinder.
Finally, I don't think I could go to driving a car that drags up to 60MPH in 7 or 8 seconds.
