would you consider buying this tsx?

Theres a tsx for sale locally in BC canada for $13000

Just wonder what are you thoughts if its a good buy or not:

2004 Acura TSX - Fully Loaded
Black
Auto with tipronic
NO major accidents
Clean title
Fully Loaded
85k miles (US import a year ago)
Black heated leather
600 km a tank easily
Clean

---------------
The seller mentioned that it was hit on the side and its been repaired. car runs perfectly fine. The car is pretty high mileage and will obviously have no warranty on it.

your thoughts?

I wouldn't get a 2004 TSX. Read more on this forum. The 2004's experience more problems. It was the first year of the first generation. You're better off with a 2005 than a 2004, but 2006 and up would be the best. Generally speaking. So sorry, but I personally wouldn't get that 04 model you're looking at.

thats mike, i thought about those issues, and i guess the cheap price would offset the fixing cost.

Check Edmunds and KBB, but 13K USD seems about right if the car is clean, has had only one owner, and maintenance records, or a log with receipts, are available to show that the car has received appropriate care. If maintenance record are not available, then I would want to check it over carefully -- including a compression check -- and also try to negotiate. My theory is that those that take care of a car are usually inclined to keep the maintenance records (or at least a log if they do their own service).

How much did it cost to repair the side that was hit? Can you detect the area visually? If you can't, then the fellow (or lady) is most likely a straight-shooter.

You might need to clarify whether that's US$13,000 or C$13,000.
