I'm going to have to agree with Reach. I'm not changing my decision as well, and I'm not interested at all with the Phase. Now if you're able to do full bumpers, then go ahead and make the Phase, but again, I'm only interested in the 06 Euro R Lip.

 

I'm still a little confused. Is this thread about bootlegging and exhisting kit??? Is that what you're asking? I wouldn't mind an 04-05 bootlegged Mugen front bumper with the OEM grill if that's the case.

And since your'e planning on working on a TSX, we definately need more options for FULL Rear bumpers instead of just skirts. There's like 1 or maybe 2 options out there. And the raven is one of them

Out of all the available body kits I've seen, I'd only be interested in the 06 euro r lip kit as well...i probably won't get it for a while though, so if a replica shows up by then...cool (I need to have some scratches and paint chips painted)

problem with Euro R kits is, if its $1400 Painted, then there is no point for me to make a Replica in Fiber glass for $600 non painted right?

or am I wrong? I can do it right away if you guys are interested in it.

I wouldnt buy the kit for $600 unpainted, i would rather buy the original ones.. paint job isnt cheap in US.
but if you still want to replicate it, make sure a number of people really want it before you put an order as you need to wait at least 2-3 months to get the 06 euro r kit..

Phase/spoon would be a good choice but you can only do a front bumper. 04-05 06-07 euro-r would be nice but it would be dumb to buy a euro-r kit for 600 then pay another 600 or more to get it painted when the kit from factory costs 1400. I'd do the 04-05 mugen since you already have it. Do the phase bumper since it is expensive and rare. Do the 06-07 mugen bumper kit since it can fit on 04-05 as well ( I dont know about the rear ) and I think you should be able to please a lot of people. Sorry for those who are pushing for the JDM kits it just that it is dumb to want to save 2-300 dollars buying a bootleg kit when you can get the real thing painted from factory for a little more.

Hey Peter, it does seem like you have some Phase Phans that have taken over the poll. I'd say get a moderator to look into starting a strict new thread and ALL YOU POST IS WHAT KIT, and have a moderator tally them at the top. I'm glad the thread has created the interest and I know you can do what you like, but I think people forgot the main idea was LIP KIT!!! and NO MODDING OF FOG LIGHTS 06 when you got to the 06 year.

1.)Euro R would be nice, I do understand your only saving a few hundred BUT, apparently you have to wait FOREVER and you'd be able to supply us faster than waiting FOREVER! There's your plus! I'm not cutting away anything. Peter would be $600 plus about $130 ish for lip kit shipping (bumper kit may be more expensive?) plus matched paint if not repainting the WHOLE car could be about $200-$300(and that is a great job). I'm still coming out about 3-500 bucks in my pocket, which is a huge diffrence. That's worth sacrificing Poly.

2.)Mugen would work again because the idea was MAKING IT TO WORK WITH STOCK 06 FOG LIGHTS!! which Peter said he could do.

3.) Some of You want a cheaper full front bumper kit then tell us lip guys to suck it up and buy the most expensive lips out there for this car at dealer/manufacturer prices. Buy your Bumper from already made aftermarket companies, and let us get a decently priced lip kit.

I want to see Peter get the most bang for his work so if it's a bumper great, BUT I think of all the people who just throw out a front bumper, the Euro R/Mugen guys for lips have ALL stated It's this or nothing as it's all we want, and there are no options out there in getting it easily. I'm in for a EURO R / Mugen with no modifications to stock bumper fogs and that's it. I have enough front bumpers from kit replacements in my garage. Never buying full bumper kits again. Put on, hope you never take off is the way to go. Anyway, refer to idea above PLEASE for clarity and let's give Peter a good idea, as if I have to wait so long to get a Euro R lip from a DEALER/Manufacterer and pay an outragous price, I should order it asap and am ready to immediately since they emailed me back the $1400 price.

Make the Phase and then consider making a lip PLEASE for us 06 guys STILL waiting for something good while 07's hit the road. If I wanted to look like an 04-05 then I woulda bought one used way cheaper than my highly upgraded 06. I don't want to lose that look in a bumper replacement.

Sorry buddy but a quality paint job, better yet one to come out like factory would run you around 5-600 dollars. You still save 200 but not worth the worry. I understand what you mean about not wanting to wait , but for something like this sometimes it is worth it.

Someone should tell this guy to start making replicas of EDM ducktail spoilers, or spoon spoilers. I think he'd make a killing on the spoilers alone If he sells it for the right price.

Supershyguy.... You should get in contact with MrHeeltoe to get your hands on the EDM Accord ducktail spoiler, and then you can start producing and making replicas for a very reasonable price.

I personaly like the EDM Ducktail. And the reason why I suggested to replicate the spoilers, is because they are more in demand in comparing to a bodykit . I'm sure you'll find more people would be interested in buying a spoiler. Don't get me wrong, I still think trying to replicate a bodykit is a good idea especially Mugen, phase bumper.
