For all of you that seem to think that making these things are easy for him, you should consider the following.

Not everyone has a garage (ie. a place to work)
Not everyone has free time on their hands.

He has other priorities like his real job. He wanted your interest in these replicas, and he's going to give it us to when he has it done.

He's in the automotive industry for a living I think, but knowing him he has a lot of projects on hand aka the toyotas and benz that he has.

For those who have a 06 and are interested in a project for your TSX's you should start stepping up and letting SSG what you are interested in.

There would be some interest. The cost of the original is far too expensive for anyone and with it being slightly larger than the M3 lip its more noticeable and better looking.

how soon would the trunk spoiler be ready?

i was first going w/ the xenonspecialist one. but then i saw the thread by crazyjojo for the decklid he got, and i really liked that. but now i'm interested in this euro replica if it comes to fruition.

and of course the replica lip for 06/07's. i keep debating if i want to wait, get the OEM, or get the euro front lip and the OEM side skirts/back underbody lip.

I would imagine SSG could have a mould made within a fortnight's time, and first replicas shipping by the end of the month?
He's the only on who'll know for sure, depending on how busy he is.

Mugen 03-'05 lower bumper section copy?
Would like to see it on a car rather than tied in a knot. That'd be more impressive!

This is wholly dependant upon when he orders the lip, but it'll only take 3 days to arrive once sent.

Yes, supershyguy, by all means make a replica of the EDM ducktail. The ducktail is the lip spoiler I really want, so I haven't resorted to buying any of the others that are available. I would have gone for the genuine Honda ducktail if the price wasn't so high. If people were to see and/or hear good things about the quality and fitment, I think you'd have a pretty fair number of takers for the ducktail replica.
I'm still wondering (as I said in an earlier post) about how it would be attached. Just with double-sided tape? I believe that the genuine ducktail comes with attachment hardware (there’s drilling involved) and a new torsion bar so the trunk lid will pop open properly despite the spoiler’s weight.
I'm guessing that buyers of the replica would just use the double-sided tape. I suppose that if you really wanted to replace the torsion bar for better trunk-lid pop-up, you'd have to do one of two things: somehow get a torsion bar of the spec that comes with the EDM ducktail or get a torsion bar that you'd use if you got the OEM wing spoiler. I'm assuming that the wing spoiler weighs a lot more than the ducktail, so the wing's torsion bar might be too "strong."

He's a smart ass, but hes a wise smart ass. Remember that.

Like Benz said, people prefer some things over others.
I for one prefer Azine much more, than tsxclub.

Now stop talking about other forums in a tsx replica thread.
