I know everyone has a great getting pulled over story-lets here it-my worst was when i had just picked out rims and was all happy and cruising home from my boyfriend's house. Needless to say i got caught doing 53 in a 35. I told the cop that i was dyslexic and thought i was doing the speed limit. Didn't believe a word i said but was happy i made him laugh. He said he would help me out and i ended up not getting any points just paid out the ass. New Jersey has a $250 surcharge on all tickets, so it ending up costing me close to $500 but no points

Dislexic... LMAO, that's hilarious. I got caught doing 130mph on the 15 on my way to Vegas in my supercharged+ Integra. I was on my to getting a 150mph blast on video. Apparently, when you're going that fast radar detectors aren't too much help covering ground that fast. He actually only wrote 110mph on the ticket after being extremely polite and apologetic on an empty desert road. Had to go to Barstow for the court date though...

Needless to say, I was a man on a mission and my cousin videotaped my 150mph run about 50miles later, and I had about 200rpm left, but traffic was coming up REAL fast... I had to lift.

yeah, i think insurance companies keep their own points system. meaning, even if you got 0 points on your license, the ticket may still hold a point value on the insurance company's system. i should know, because while i have 0 points on my license, i racked up quite a few points with my insurance co.

$500 is f'ing steep!! MI speeding tickets are about 100~.

No wonder the cop didn't believe you. Have you ever seen a speed limit sign that was not divisible by 5? I've always seen either 25, or 35, 60, 65. But never with a speed ending in 3. lol, that was a good one to come up with though. Although i dont think there's any cop that is going to buy that one.

I got a $560 "street racing" ticket. I wasn't racing, I just did a burnout in the middle of the downtown area but that's what he called it. There were all these kids cruising and I just wanted to get home. It was jam packed with cars and I was irritated. There was this bitch in front of me with a Golf hatch. She had her windshield squirter pointed at me and sprayed me. I was pissed, passed her up, got in front of her, got out and cussed her out. She looked like this no joke. Her boyfriend was trying to calm me down from afar. I got back in, threw my soda out my window at her, and peeled out through first gear. Yeah I was stupid and felt really bad afterwards. I learned a few hard lessons that night. Now I try not to sweat the small stuff.

Having been on the OTHER end of the ticketing process for a while, I can tell you all that politeness, HONESTY, and a sense of humor will go a long way, unless the officer is on a motorcycle. Even I don't like them.... lol

I got a ticket a year ago and I literally asked for it...I was at an intersection and I was being over-confident since it had been awhile since I got a ticket...well anyways I saw the cop at the intersection and I was making a right turn and I said "come and get me f**ker" not too loud and spead off and he clocked me 46 in a 35. Brand new TSX and he probably thought I was a spoiled kid that need to be taught a lesson...he got everything right except for the spoiled part. Oh well shit happens....i wish i didnt do that because I have to go to court next week for another ticket in VA.

Some cop gave me a wreckless driving ticket for taking a left turn when he was 75 ft away.

The ticket itself was around $85, but to rid the points, it costed just below $210. Not to mention the 5-hour court session...
