You mean blade sizes. Both left and right blades are different lengths. This has been true of Honda Accords since 1990. I don't know the sizes, however...

Yeah, but does size matter?

That was something that kind of surprised me - the radical discrepancy in the wiper blade sizes. Hadn't seen that before, but when you look at the coverage on the windscreen, it makes sense.

About a million years ago, I had an MGB that had 3 wipers. That was pretty weird too. At least they were all the same size.

Jeez, I miss that car.

well... you could remove the wiper blades from your wiper and measure them couldn't you? that way you know for sure. i'm surprised that this is not listed in the owner's manual. they do need to be replaced so why not list them.

I would be really careful about replacing the blade arms or aftermarket blades. I never found aftermarket blades or blade arms to be as satisfactory as the Honda originals specifically designed for the car.

Yeah... don't replace the arm. I would stick with OEM here. If you find that your blades are not working... try cleaning your window with Invisible Glass Cleaner from Stoners (Pep Boys has it)... fill up your windshield wiper fluid with Rain-X windshield wiper fluid. It comes in Pink (summer months) and ORANGE (winter months). This stuff really works well.

Do you guys suggest using OEM wiper blades from Acura?

It is funny, you get a new car the wipers work great, and after the first replacement (from checker/auto zone) they never work the same.

I've always found Honda wipers to wipe cleaner and last longer than ones from an auto parts store, and not much more expensive either (don't know about acura parts pricing though).

whatever you do... do not replace the WIPER arms for 3rd party ones... they don't work as well because they are generic. The ones on your car were built for your car so they will perform better. The blade on the other hand can be replaced with 3rd party ones but why? I've never seen the advantage of doing so.

Another suggestion: there is this stuff from 303 that sells for like a dollar a pack. You put it on your windshield wipers and it makes them more resistant to snow and ice, and also a bit more flexible.

Yeah, aftermarket blades never work the same. Better to replace them with OEM or just replace the filters, and even then you should use OEM filters.

Those are just replacement wiper blade assemblies, there probably wouldn't be a problem with that. It's replacing the whole ARM that people are cautioning against. Assuming that little wing actually works, they could perform better than the stock blades on the highway. I haven't tried the stock ones at speed yet, but on other vehicles, I've found that replacing the stock blade assemblies (rubber blade and the holder part) with "Aerofoil" brand blades helped a lot to reduce wiper lifting at highway speeds.

Also, during the winter, I usually use special winter blades that have the spring part of the blade assembly covered in rubber to prevent it from getting iced up inside. Looks kinda ugly, but they work.

Got good results by replacing blades with Bosch's. Don't use the "inexpensive" blades found in most dicount stores.

I used to buy the most expensive blades I could find because I hate noisy wipers. Just by pure fluke I tried some mid-priced ones and found that they were quieter than the more expensive ones. Keeping with the trend, the next season I bought some even cheaper ones and found them to be just as quiet as the OEM blades. Turns out that they actually were the OEM blades just sold under another brand name.

My Acura dealer has the original blade inserts for $4.95CDN so I'll go that route when they need replacing.

I guess nobody answered the question of the blade size.

The driver's side is 26 inches.
The passenger's side is 16 inches.

Look for the replacement blades in a car specialty shop because they are a hard size(26) to find.

I wouldn't buy those Euro-R wipers from E-bay unless you plan on repainting them. I purchased a similar product(also manufactured by Maruta) for my previous car and they turned yellow from the summer sun(less than 6 months old). They were originally black.

The 26 in is the same as the 2004 Maxima.

I got them today.

Anyone ever notice the Camry wagon that I think is current generation - 2 (mid-late 90s?)? Weird looking car to begin with, but it's got dual rear wipers. Never seen that before, just noticed it a few months ago, but now it stands out whenever I see one. Strange.
