Wiper Blade Question

I just replaced my blades and when I had the drivers side blade up, a small plastic piece (1 inch square with hole on both sides) popped off and I have no idea what it is or where it goes.

other than the wiper blade assembly, no other part should be coming off.

check your manual for instructions. maybe you broke off a piece?
