Window Tinting in Sherman Oaks
I just called Sunshield Glass Tinting in Sherman Oaks. They were recommended to me by the dealer I bought my TSX from. I was quoted $165 for all windows tinted in ceramic film except the windshield, including felt on the plastic strips. Does anybody have any experience with these folks? That seems too good to be true! They've been in business over 20 years in the same location.
Thanks,
Mark

Let me help you!
That's where I got my accord tinted a few years ago (I'm guessing about 8 or 9 years ago). The tint hasn't faded, bubbled, or scratched. It's still in new condition, so I was considering going back to them for my TSX...but I want ceramic tint from a specific manufacturer. Do you know what type of ceramic tint they're going to use?
The one complaint I had at the time was that they must have been in a hurry to remove my rear shelf. My accord developed a rattle, and when I took it off, I saw how quickly it was removed. No visible damage on the outside though.
They are the ones who handle several local dealers. Miller Honda in Van Nuys recommended them, and I think a dealership in woodland hills uses them too (keyes honda or something? I forget)
If they are using the ceramic tint I want, then sign me up too lol

Ceramic Window Tint
Hey Socalitrojan,
Here's their website: http://www.sunshieldglasstinting.com/home.nxg
They use LLumar, Madico, and 3M. I don't see 3M listed on their site, but that's what they said. I haven't gone down there yet because I've been too busy and they're about 40 minutes away. They promise it to be completed in 90 minutes or less though... Let me know if you go down there.
