Will 55W HID Fog lights melt the Fog light housing?

I want to install 55W hid fogs (from DDM) and wanted to see if anyone has had any issues with them?

Also, what is the wattage on our low beam lights?

Why get 55w fogs? 35w is fine (and is our OEM lows), and without a projector 55w is potentially blinding for others on the road.

I know for a fact 35w won't burn the housing or a plastic laminex cover.

55 watts would be over kill. My 35 watt kit does make the fog light housing burn skin to the touch. So a 55 watt kit would probably cause some damage.
