Hi Folks,

I've been having a really hard time finding an 04 TSX with the AERO package (spoiler, skirts). I guess the AERO package wasn't a popular option....not sure why, the car looks 10x better with that package on it but I realize it wasn't a cheap option.

So...I'm thinking of getting the car without the package and then going to the dealer and having it added after. Any suggestions?

No TSX comes from the factory with the AERO package. All Aero packages are listed as accessories for the TSX. I would recommend that you purchase the package on your own through an online acura retailer and install yourself as this will save you some money. Installation is really staright forward, and anyone should be able to do this. If you don't feel comfortable with that, then work the package into the price when negotiating and have the dealer install it. Most dealers won't install the aero package until someone specifically requests it. Good luck!

Yea, what Kris said. The Aero kit is an accessory. It will never come like that from the factory. With that said... it's easy to install and you can find a good price online.
You missed out on a great group buy last week for $820 shipped. The price is now back to $911 shipped, but it's' still a great deal.

If I check the acura site, I can choose the aero package when purchasing a new TSX. Doesn't that mean it's from Factory and that they install it and deliver it to you with the package on it? Just asking as I'm confused.. thx

Yes, you can do that, but you won't find many TSX's with it installed already. Like the others said, you can order it from Acura or another retailer and have it installed, but the dealers don't order them from the factory with the package (accessory) unless someone asks for it, you have to have them order it.

Just buy an '04 and tell the dealer you want to order the package. They can install it for you if you want.

Even if you order the car with the AERO package, it is still installed by the dealer. The car will not leave Japan with the AERO package on, It must be installed at the dealer.

ahh ok, I understand now. This forum is great. This makes it much easier for my decision on selecting a car...I don't have to always ask 'does it come with the aero package' because 90% of the time, it doesn't
