IN one of the threads, a poll showed a lot of people rather have the H came stock than the A. Acura is just part of a international marketing scam. Tuners do this to be different, just like how Japanese people mod their Toyotos and Hondas into Lexus and Acura. It's not an "upgrade" as one have said. Otherwise, everyone would've done it. Putting a H on your car does not give it super power to downgrade itself.
FOr me..I do it because I want to mod everything possible on the TSX or 'accord'. Although my friends do say it's stupid because it's a downgrade + it look worse, I think it's awesome. But then again, my friends drive Benz. They never understand what JDM is!

We do have have Acura here too, but simply its wud be wierd to change the badge into Acura.
So, its means for us that Acura are luxury brand, while Honda are Sport oriented. Thats why people here wont rebadge Honda to Acura. Its just a matter of feeling it gives us...
But we do too have people who rebadge thier Civic into Type R , and BMW 3 series into M3. I think its universal, people wanna look good!
Talk about weird, I saw people rebadge Kias with GT-R and Mitsus with TRD!! LOL

Most people who rebadge their cars are either teenagers or peeps in their 20s who never really grew up. I personally think it's rediculous.. but hey I've seen much worse, like spinning 14" hubcaps on a Sentra this morning...
