normally i would think yeah maybe he does have a turbo'd tsx. but looking at the decals and the rear bumper i say its just an intercooler plugged into nothing or just a fancy radiator

dont like the painted mugen. dont like the painted hood trim. dont like the mesh grill on the bumper. dont like the hood+trunk. dont like the decals. dont like the owner.

 

On the Lexus forum? Good place for it and should definitely stay there.

 

For the guys talking smack about anything on this car.. shame on you! The car looks bad ars!.. its just a show car it looks like. And why would anyone look at the intercooler and say its a "fancy radiator"? Are you serious!? He could afford the rims, the custom paint job, custom fender flares, the rims, air shocks, mugen front bumper, red carbon fiber, etc... but not a turbo kit?? Thats a turbo kit guy!

 

I'm at the swelled fenders. I wish our TSX came like that stock like the BMW M3

 

I dont think it's really talking smack when someone says they don't believe it's a real intercooler. It's quite reasonable to say that because we dont have EM for the turbo. So...unless he got that custom made HKS turbo-kit (yummyummy), which i might add is NOT in production, it's near impossible to have a turbo tsx.

the reason we doubt is because there are VERY VERY FEW turbo TSX'S, or else u will see them everywhere....
But somehow I think it might be legit because that's auto fashion! and to show up to a auto fashion meet, and have all those sponsors, I don't think he'll do something as rice as put up a INTERFOOLER!! haha...

If you have the money.. anything is possible.. so why doubt it!.. all the money the car looks like it has into it, why would they put a fake intercooler on to make it seem like it has turbo? I mean, make sense of it first because that wouldnt make sense. And we can use K-Pro with the harness from Hytech.. its just that nobody's using it! And the Dazz TSX had a Turbo Kit.. who thought that kit was fake? They didnt have EMS neither.. food for thought

i just fucking hate that pos mexican civic rear bumper and i hate that he has a fake turbo set up.

I have to be honest and say the fender flares are too much...so is the rear bumper. he could've had a clean ride like tsxdriver or kitbkk but just went a little overboard IMO.

 

Ah I guess I shouldn't call interfooler on him. Besides, I've seen some interfoolers and they never look like that

 

I'm torn about this car. Don't like the rear bumper at all, but for a show car, he's done a great job. The color is sick, I love the front bumper, and the fender flares just look mean.

I wouldn't want to have to drive a car with wheel offsets like that though. It looks like it would handle like a fat woman on all fours on rollerskates.

If that's a legitimate turbo kit, however, all complaints go out the window and he instead gets props.

You guys all act like theres no such thing as a custom turbo kit. People make custom turbo kits all the time and they're not ridiculously expensive, especially for Hondas. I bet that paint job cost 3x as much as a custom kit. I've owned a car with a turbo, theres not all that much to it, and with a bit of money, its more than possible. Just because its rare doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If anything, he may have just tweaked a turbo kit for an RSX.

I'd call this one TSX Dub Edition.

bhamsan ^ assembling the components for a custom turbo kit can be done.. it's getting it to work without losing the integrity of your $26K+ car that prevents it. His turbo may or may not be real, but if it was i'm pretty sure it would have been on this site before now..

Not just his car, but the fact he's taking up two parking spaces....and one of them is a hadicapped space.

Good show car though, a lot of time, thought and money invested. So you have to give him props.

I think it contradicts the stylistic intentions of the TSX, dressing up classy and understated simplicity to look like a busty hooker with red lipstick.
