Whoever said that April was a bad month for TSX's...

Was RIGHT!

Yesterday I went outside to my driveway to wait for a friend coming to pick me up so take a walk around my TSX. When I got to the front of the car I noticed that my license plate was kind of crumpled up. I'm thinking WTF! On closer inspection, I notice a scrape on the bumper to the left of the license plate as well. There was remnants of red paint so whoever did it had a red car.

That's when I almost lost it. Some jackass must have backed up into my car, then must have moved forward a bit after he/she noticed what they did and then backed up again into my car again causing the scrape beside the license plate! I'm pretty sure it happened while I was parked at work at the downtown office. I go there once a week for meetings and this is what I get. Ah well, I guess it could have been worse. I'll post some pics tomorrow since my bumper has flies all over that mask the scrape. I can't wash the car for 24 hours since I just got the OEM kit installed today.

There's a kicker too. Since they backed up into my license plate portion of my bumper, there's two nice holes now in the paint behind the license plate holder from the top two screws that hold the plate in.

Here's to the idiot that backed into my car

That sucks.

Ouch bondgrrl. I guess I should feel lucky compared to what your TSX has been through, but the month is over yet...

After I wiped down the scrape a bit it doesn't look too bad now. Not sure if I'm going to get it fixed now or wait for more damage to my bumper before fixing. Knowing my luck, something else is bound to happen.

I have been hearing so much about April being bad for TSXs that my wife just asked me "How come you been driveing the truck lately?"

I didn't even notice that I was doing it. My TSX has been locked in the garage almost the whole month.

Oh no. Going on a San Diego roadtrip on 4/30 for one night. So far my TSX is dent/dingless. Was really looking forward to the coast drive but now ... ? Should we just take the wife's Civic? It'll be the LAST day in April maybe the curse will be broken by then.
