Who has the most and least miles on their TSX?

Hello everyone
i jus got back from a nice sunday drive and was bored so i started wondering, who has the most and least miles on their TSX?

ive had my 2005 TSX for about 12 months and 1800ish on the odometer averaging out to about 150 miles per month

its a fun car to drive but i do most of my daily driving with the Altima or the Pilot

how about the other folks on acurazine?

Whoa, you've had it for a year and only 1,800miles!?!? Even if it isn't your daily driver, that's still pretty low. I've had mine 6 months, got approx 18,000km (11,250miles), I do about 3,000km(1,875miles) per month.

2004 with 26,700 miles.

Bought it in May of last year with 16,662 miles on it, which means I've put on about 10,000 miles in just under a year. Pretty good - low miles now that I moved closer to work...I only have a 2 mile commute now! I drive 35 minutes to the gym several times a week though, that's the only way I put any miles on it.

Of course...I move closer to work AFTER I get the fun to drive car. When I had an hour commute I was driving a Sebring (total blah). At least my gas bill went down.

19400 miles in 13 months. I'm in cali. Its drive, drive, drive....

Who would tend to sell their cars as soon as warranty runs out?

I baby mine, and want to keep it as long as possible. I kept my last car for 9 years.

I would really like to know how far the TSX mileage can go! Nice thread.

1800 miles-ish? That's lowish for 12 mos, in my humble opinion. Are you in snow country where you just drive during summer, using your Pilot and Altima for crappy road conditions?

Sometimes I take it out during the weekend, and take the backroads winding the mountains around and near Yosemite Park just for the fun of it, on SS shift. It could be a half day driving, and the navi systems rocks, so I don't need to follow paper map.

The TSX is too fun to leave in garage. No disrespect here.

i live in Jersey City, NJ. not a lot of snow here its just that i dont like to take the TSX when goin shopping, etc.
I usually drive the TSX when visitin people or goin somewhere far like south NJ, PA area.
Im also in NYC a lot and thats one place id rather not take the TSX
i'd rather not have any battle scars on the bumpers
This limits the time spent in the TSX

its an awesome car, dont get me wrong
and it will definately be seeing more than 3,000 miles this summer
i got a nice trip to FL planned in April and i will be taking the TSX

anyone else driven their TSXs less than I have?

how many miles does sauceman got on his rite now?

Hmmm....is there a million mile Honda? What's the highest Honda (any model) mileage that you've heard of?

I heard that the highest Toyota mileage is a Camry in Canada.

I'd put my money on sauceman having the most # of miles on his. He drives crazy distances to go aroung and get to work. Least? well.. i'm going to assume the person with the least is the last one to take delivery. lol

WOW!!! You must be zig zagging all over the country.

BTW, the Toyota Camry with the "highest mileage" for an active Toyota is 460,000 miles as of 6 months ago. This data is from a Toyota mechanic/dealership, and I don't know how accurate it is.

I'm still interested in the highest Honda mileage if anybody knows.

26 months - 20,600 miles. Less than 800 miles a month on average.

My normal commute only gets me 500 miles a month.

The car's been from Atlanta to New York (twice), to Asheville, to Florida panhandle, to Boston (on one of the New York trips), to Niagara (on the same NY trip).

Take those trips out and I only have like 10000 miles...

Benefits of living 2 miles from work.

I was aware back in the day of at least 2 Accords and one Civic with over a million Km. There may be more, I wouldn't be surprised.

I lasted my previous Accord to 615,000km (384,400miles), bought at 83,000km (It had been totalled then rebuilt at 15,000km)

I plan to last the TSX no more than 500,000km this time. Beyond that, maintenance and repair costs go through the roof.

Sauceman, you should be hitting 500k in another 2.5 years, right? Kind of an expensive car to only keep for 6 years. Wouldn't it be more economical to buy something for ~20k.

It's a business spending, and I do need something like a good touring car for the long road trips if I want my back to hold up.

There really isn't a great choice of cars out there when you need a) security features (VSA, HIDs, great handling) b) 4cyl, economical engine, c) comfortable driver's seat with good support & ample adjustment assorted with telescopic steering d) reliability and dependability.

It becomes hard for me to stay away from Honda/Acura then.

Plus, my Km allocation from my company is suitable for my car.

sauceman, who's never suffered any back pains in the TSX, despite 1000km+ road trips non-stop.

I currently drive 2500km a month which would be 30k a year.I really cut the mileage since being in the automotive industry.Fewer people would want a 5 years old car with 150k on it.At least here in Van,no.So,I am either gonna get a second beater or move closer to where I work right now.
