Where does Edmunds.com $$/color data come from?

Does anyone know where the data on the Edmunds.com site come from?

According to Edmunds, there is a small variation in best price depending on which color TSX one is looking for. I'm wondering if this is realistic. These variations seem to be region-specific. In some areas, it looks like there is no discount for any color, while in southern CA for example there seems to be an $84 discount for the least popular color: arctic blue pearl. Together with the "regional adjustment" for SoCal, this means I might expect a $220 discount to MSRP on a ABP TSX. For popular colors like CG, PWP, and Milano Red, there is no color discount in SoCal.

Has anyone's experience found this to be true? I'm a little skeptical in that 3 TSXes in the supposedly most popular colors (PWP and Milano Red) have been sitting at a nearby dealer's lot for at least a week and a half, maybe longer, and don't appear to be going anywhere fast.
