When you have jerky shifts, how much damage on drivetrain?
so ive been driving my car for 4 months now. im kind of getting used to it but i still seem to get that jerky shift or mis-shift every once in a while, causing some jerk through out the car or vibrations.
to tell you how bad it is, my girlfriend doesnt really like my new manual car b/c she says its "too jerky and not smooth like an automatic" haha i guess its my lack of skills. hehe
but what kills me is the thought that im slowly killing my car with these shifts. ive been driving for 4000 miles, and im starting to get the hang of it, but im just worried about the transmission and drivetrain (clutch not so much since its a wear item anyways).
so how much damage does this really do?
thanks!

You've posted this before.... Keep practicing, trying new things. An experienced manual driver can shift smoother than an auto.
