When wifey was away, look what I did

Look what I did when wifey was away for 3 weeks on a business trip! Haha! I couldn't help myself so I thought a while back I should do as much as I can while she's away. Almost done, I still have a few things left I wanna do but since she is getting back in 2 days this will be the end product she sees. Do you think she'll like it?

Right b4 the night pics

Mods are: OEM body Kit, Progress rear sway bar, A-Spec suspension, RJ Inspyre 18X7.5 with Toyo Proxyes Tires, Comptech Ice Box, Hondata heat gasket, DC Sport Headers, Fujistobo exhaust, EBC Sport Groove Rotors and Pads (front), Momo shift knob and Dynamat extreme trunk and rear seat

On order: Dash trim kit/aluminum, Comptech Strut Bar, Stoneguard and hopefully have the floor/roof with cascade along with replacing stock speakers/amp - that should be done within 2 weeks. Building a heatshield, Might Re-Flash once the mods break-in

The black bimmer is my bro's. He has a few mods here and there, haha I gotta give him a lot of credit and thanks for all the help... And of course, to everyone here on forum -- I doubt without any of guidance and answering all my stupid questions I wouldn't have gotten close to this. THANKS everyone
Let me know what you all think.

Honestly, that is with the A-Spec suspension. I kinda wish it was dropped a bit more esp. in the front so that might change out once it settles (hopefully). But overall, the suspension is a better improvement than OEM. That Progress sway bar is just plain awesome!

Looks good! How much ya wanna bet wifey doesn't even recognize the body kit? I like those RJs. She will definately notice those. Is the suspension adjustable? It could come down a bit more, that would really set the body kit and RJs off. So what are you ganna do the next time she leaves town?

We will find out tomorrow when she gets back! She knows I am mod happy when it comes to cars. No the suspension isn't adjustable, it feels more fluid than the stock does and definately not as harsh as other drops. Next time? Who knows, it depends on how long she'll be gone for hahaha.. Know any other suggestions?

Also, the car isn't SSM, its the Meteor Silver. Once the Stoneguard is in place I'll have the Zaino.

Rims were 1090 total from Ron Jon (great wheel vendor, fast and reliable) and got the tires from Edgeracing.com. I gotta price break since I order the tires 2day delivery, it took them almost 5 days. Is it just me or are some of the shipping companies getting worse? Not to name some corps, but I've been getting a lot of delayed shipments and delivery. Heck, even SNAIL mail was faster than some of the 2day stuff.

Yeah I did, with my bro. The good part is, I went out for week to visit her while my bro was doing some mod working like putting the icebox in and all. Hahaha!
Rule of thought is to order everything ahead of time and make sure you get it on time. There was some items on back order like crazy

I have a momo shift knob with a few modifications we did on it. I know there are some knobs out there that do spin on our shifters and even if you put a piece of rubber in them they still spin. What I did was insert a 5/16 fine threaded "connector nut" from Orchard Supply store. It fits almost perfectly in the hole of shift knob. I wrapped a thin piece of rubber that came with the knob on the nut itself to give it a nice snug fit. Twisted on the shifter rod itself and it worked. It blew my mind away how perfect it went it.

I'll post a pic of the shift knob!

Yea, when I found out when she was leaving and for how long, I ordered the parts a week in advance. Made sure they were delivered right after she left. Luckily our vendors are great and on time. Only hiccups were the shipping companies.

Looking good there! Love the ronjon's.
Did you get a camber kit so that the alignment is adjustable in the rear?
I think with the drop, the camber will be off even more. Might be a good idea.
Of course, the wife wont notice the kit lol.

Thanks a bunch. I was really thinking about it before I got it, but when the alignment was done they said I was all within specs. It'll probably change once I put a 10 sub in the back so I might get it then.

Looks good. Just go ahead and get the reflash done though. Mods don't need to "settle in" for a reflash to take full effect. You could easily do it all in the same day (which I've seen done for RSXs). As long as your engine has passed the break-in period, you're set.

You'll want to get that alignment done within a week of putting the A-spec suspension on. Camber is the least of your worries. Toe is the bit that will be the most out of whack. You're going ot destroy your tires because of out of spec toes before the camber offset from the A-spec will.

Haha, well i think she's hot (gotta be one of the lucky guys to have a great lady) but I don't think she would appreciate her picture all over the place... Last thing I need is for her to be upset more when she sees the car and her picture on the forum

Honestly I don't know! But I get so many looks esp. from BMWs. Its funny because I was next to a 328i and 330 coupe and they just stared at the car for 5 mins. My bro has a 325i (which he adores more than anything) and just loves the TSX's look, handling and power. He's still amazed.

I'll take more pics of the car inside and out also have it in motion for ya. I have a couple more things that I wanna add

How do you like the Fujitsubo exhaust? Mine looks and sounds awesome. I love it.

The A-spec doesnt settle down any. I have a few thousand miles on my A-spec and it looks the same as when I installed. Also I did not get an alignment yet and I dont see any abnormal tire wear, and the car tracks fine.

My car is out of service at the moment. I sent my ecu to hondata to get reflashed. It should be back Fri or Sat.

I love the exhaust! Very well made. I still enjoy the HKS exhaust off from our CL, but of course it sounds deeper since its a 6 cylinder. The suspension is dropping a bit, i'm probably gonna guess it'll drop .25 or .50 of an inch more. Its a great compromise of a very comfortable ride and able to push it up a notch every now and then. I am planning the reflash real soon, but please let me know how your reflash turns out.

LOL, I get the same thing with a few 330cis.

Man, each time I read a review on the Fujitsubo Legalis-R Catback, the more I think that would be the perfect catback for me since I'm looking for something with a larger tip, nice sound, but the cabin noise is not unbareable. I think I need to sit in a car that has the Fujitsubo and a car that has the Evo2.

That IS w/ the A-spec on!

I think your stock suspension TSX, w/ the same rims, looks lower. Maybe he has 225-40-18s instead of the 235-40-18s on your car?

yea, I'll post some tonight for ya. It looks higher when I am in my bro's driveway since it has an arch on it. But I'll take pics that are on a level plane that way you can really see it. If you see the night pics, the car did come down about an 1" to 1.25"
