When in for an oil change, left with a new TSX

I went to Crown Acura in Greensboro, NC to get an oil change and I got to looking around while I was waiting. Next thing I know I'm filling out paperwork for a 2009 TSX, graphite/black interior, with the tech package. My 2006 black/black TSX w/ navigation was very good to me but with 145,000 miles it only seemed like a matter of time before I needed to start spending big bucks in maintenance. Too bad I spent $1600 4 months ago replacing the rack and pinion. Thanks for all your help everyone.

Boy did you get 'up sold!' Congrats on the new ride. You had 100,000 more miles on your 06 than I do on my 06. My TSX has been very good to me but I'm going to hold out for the TLX.. if I can. Best of luck with the new ride.

Congrats on the new TSX!!

I've always liked the new styling of the +09 TSX a lot better compared to the +09 TL. The 06 TSX is such a great car; I just can't see myself trading it in any time soon. I might feel differently once I get around 180,000 miles (only at 90,000 miles now).

I'm approaching 172K with my 05, and I'll predict you won't feel much different. I constantly struggle with selling it because of the miles, but since it has been basically trouble free, I always end up thinking.... "why?". I will confess that I still haven't warmed to the second gen, though I probably would buy one if the price was right (and though it's been less reported, it seems some 09's have growing pains similar to those of the 04's)(enough to remove any 09 from consideration by me anyway) so I kind of feel like a man without a country.
