^^ Bingo!

Basically what I wanted to say was, for those '04/05 owners who are interested in putting in a '06 wheel, I just confirmed that it's a DIRECT fit... no need for new airbag or anything...

...all you need to do is find one for cheap, the one I got came a brand new '06 that had a wood steering installed, so I got it for $50 shipped on ebay (I think you can get it for even cheaper if you have the patience to wait).

It's not a major difference, but the slightly thicker feel (I think it's due to the way it's wrapped), and the better quality leather makes it feels much better than the original '04 on mine.

I would say it's a pretty easy swap, should take no more than half an hour if you didn't strip the torx bolt holding the airbag like me (which cost another couple extra days to correct).

The two torx bolts holding the airbag in my car was extremely tight for some reason, looks like they had some thread lock stuff on it, and since I was using some el cheapo tools, the torx bit wasn't an exact fit, even though it's a T-30.

Oh, and remember to disconnect the battery before you unhook the airbag harness, or you'll get an airbag warning light, or have all the airbags deploy if you short out something.

For instructions, you can get it here: http://www.handa-accessories.com/tsx/08U97.pdf

I was going to do the '06 AT knob swap too, but I can't find it anywhere selling for less than dealer price. So I ended up getting the RL knob, which is the same except for the dimpled leather. I was surprised when I saw the 'Made in Italy' words printed on the box, btw

Oh, one more tip, for the records in case you were going to remove the steering wheel. I actually got this tip from a friend working at a shop...

After you remove that main bolt holding the steering wheel, DON'T TRY TO PULL IT OUT YET! If you do this you'll end up having to use a steering wheel puller since it tends to lock up if you pull it at this point. Instead, hold the wheel with two hands and try to wiggle it a bit (push with one hand, pull with the other hand, vice versa). It should come loose a little bit and then it will come out easily.

If I could install a steering wheel with spokes like that of my long-gone '90 Accord, I'd sell my TSX wheel to someone. I loved the spokes that were at 4:30 and 7:30, rather than just one at 6:00. The TSX wheel does look much better though.
