I am thinking about selling my 2006 TSX to buy an S2000. I am trying to figure out how much to list it for.

Car info:
I purchased the TSX new in November 2006. It currently has about 73k on it and is a 6 speed manual. It is Milano red with tan leather interior. It is in very good condition. It has tinted windows, Koni struts on it and a drop in K&N filter. The maintenance has been performed on schedule and I have changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic since new. It has never been in a wreck (clean title) and everything works on the car.

I am thinking about listing it for $15k. Do you think that this price is appropriate?

Top end of value is about 15.3k for owner sale. Koni's and K&N might hurt, rather than help. Navi doesn't really matter, and you don't mention, so I'll assume none. Milano Red is famous for fading or washing out...so if the color held, you're lucky.

15k sounds like a good start, but don't be surprised to struggle to top 14k...

I still have the original struts that I can reinstall. It has slept in my garage since new.

Consider who you are trying to sell to. If you want to sell to a boy racer or performance enthusiast, then the struts and K & N might help. But selling to daddy for his college/high school daughter, and the original parts are better...plus you can sell the bits for a few bucks too.

Just know your market.

That is a good start but try doing the $14,999. Remember most will try to offer a lower price. My milano res is not faded either. I wax and quick detail it often. It is also garage kept. I almost bought a 07 red s2000 but decided it was not practical after the novelty wore off.

Very good point and this daddy wont look at a 15K 2006 TSX...

Remember you always can lower the price. Try that price and see what happens.
This parent has never bought cars for their children. I did get the it is not fair but years later they told me they appreciated it. I did co-sign their first loan and they made all the payments. Helped with establishing excellent credit.

All good input, but let me be the one to mention the elephant in the living room. There's a reason why MT models are 5% of production....

Of course you should start high and work from there...But to be honest as someone else pointed out, an 06 with that many miles isn't nearly worth the 15K.
