I just voted on the 200+ feet because i know it is capable of that. I was sitting at a ball field one day with my girlfriend watching a baseball game and she started to get cold and ran out to the car to get her sweatshirt. as she got near the car i unlocked it for her (and i was definitely 200+ away). as she leaned into the trunk i hit the panic button and scared the crap out of her. Definitely humorous

I was also frustrated about my key fob not working until I was really close. At first I thought it was the battery as well, but I've replaced that to no avail. Over the course of two weeks, I have noticed the higher I hold the remote, the farther the range. Also works well if I am far away but in an elevated position in relation to my car. The neck/chin thing doesn't do anything for me. It must a combination of the placement of the reciever and power of the transmitter.
The Honda's with the integrated key/remote seem to have far reach regardless of position of key/remote. Hopefully Acura will get that technology soon too...

Mine works on average 50-100 feet away.
Who's fob looks like crap? (i.e.- scratches, dings, etc.) I wish I could replace the plastic on the outside, without spending the ~$115 for a new one. Mine is 3 months old and in pretty bad shape.

yeah, sometimes I'm 10' away and I have to hit it a few times before it works. Its an embarassment, I'm always trying to hide it from my friends whose work from 100'!
Did the people that did the Accord keybob swap get better range afterwards?
