Btw, supposedly the Acura website says "270+hp" so maybe there is hope the HPT or all the TLs even might offer more like 280hp.

 

IMO it depends so totally on what the "base" TL is really like, including a lot of intangibles that we can only know when we try the car.

As an example: With the current TL, I don't think anybody would have thought the "regular" TL would be such a dud (and need so much help), or that the TL-S would be so different than the regular one, except by trying them.

I think most others will disagree. But, how can you know what you might want to add, when you don't really know exactly (or even approximately) how the car handles, how it feels, how sporty it is, etc. etc.?

Will be very interesting to see what people think about this.
