What exactly do I need to mount my iPod to my air vent in my '05 TSX?

I have a 2005 Acura TSX. I recently purchased the Kensington Digital FM Transmitter and I'm looking to also buy some sort of car mount. The best thing for me would be to mount something on the left-center air vent so I can see what song is playing and adjust the controls while keeping my eyes semi-on the road.

I looked at ProClip USA for a mount and found the mount for the iPod costs $49.99. I thought that was pretty expensive for nothing more than a mount, but then I realized that I ALSO have to buy the Acura mount so I can put the iPod mount on top of it - another $29.99.

I can't believe ProClipUSA wants me to spend $80 just to mount a device to my car. Am I crazy, or is this the only way to mount my iPod with ProClipUSA's products? Is there a cheaper solution that also does what I want and is compatible with my car?

I forgot to say that I have an iSkin case that needs to fit in the mount as well.

Radio Shack sells this Arkon iPod Mount which I like, but it doesn't say if the mount is compatible with my Acura and it's a web-only deal, so I won't be able to ask in store. Has anyone tried this?

I used the Arkon once and then I tried to remove it and my entire vent assembly came apart. It's great as long as don't intend to remove it. I thought it constricted airflow too much.

Wow. Arkon says on their website not to remove it, but I didn't realize they were that serious.
