The chrome tips on my Tsx are dirty, what do you guys use to clean the tips to make them shiny again? I just hope that these dual exhausts won't rust easily.

The tips are OEM stainless steel, so they shouldn't rust. Here's the best way to give them that extra shine. Spray WD-40 on a rag and wipe them off. That's it. It will make them shiny, super slick, and take off any black residue from the eshaust.

P.S. Windex works better on chrome than the OEM tips.

I use the soap and water to clean off the residue first, using a brush... then what I would use is Mothers or Meguairs Chrome Polish... that stuff really really works.

Yeah A4, I like the stuff. Have you tried it?

They are not chrome, so why use chrome polish??

WD-40 actually works really really well. Been doing it for years, too bad I discovered it by accident.

I just snorted some WD-40 guys. Just kidding. Thought that would amuse dabudda.
Yeah, I think it works really well on lotsa stuff. You can also use it if you get tar on the lower door panels, etc... It won't take paint off or anything, but I'd recommend doing it before you wax.

Well, even if they would rust, the WD-40 would put a stop to that!
