If the tsx was badged a Honda i wouldn't of bought one. Im sorry buy Honda sounds so cheap. Some people have never heard about acura, or they dont even think honda makes it. I would not spend money on a Honda.

Ahh, I remember you. You are the V-4 turbo guy. Not a surprise that you are into the "label" so much.
It is a Honda. TSX is a car suits me; I would be happy to purchase it.

Sure I would have still purchased it, if it was the exact same car, and came with all the same features.
I've got better things to worry about than whether my car's brand name meets anyone else's approval. If I really felt that way, I wouldn't be driving an Acura, I'd be driving something with more snob appeal, like a BMW or Lexus.

I got Honda Badges on my TSX... so im sure you know my feelings on this subject...
Sorry that you have to make up for your small penis by the badges on your car... I think you may infact belong in a BMW in that case...

also forgot to mention that the HONDA insignia is everywhere on the car...so in essence you did buy a Honda...

It makes absolutely no difference if the TSX is branded Acura or Honda. Acura is but a marketing label. And there's no difference in quality either.
Acura is a creation of Honda's marketing department to try to market Honda built (mostly) vehicles that have sporty or luxury marketing attributes.
By and large, the TSX is essentially the Accord in Europe and Asia, but with slight feature and spec variations that you have anywhere anyway for different markets around the world. In Europe, you can buy a full range of Honda Accords that look like our TSXs. Some might have smaller tires, different color paint, automatic wipers, moose guard bumpers (just kidding), RHD or LHD, upholstery, different radios, and plus or minus numerous other bells and whistles.
By and large, we are driving Honda Accords that most people in the US and Canada would not recognize as Honda Accords. This makes our TSX particularly ideal for "brand label re-engineering" that also resulted in the creation of the Acura brand label for the US and Canadian markets.
Recently I read that Honda may introduce the Acura brand in Japan too, such as what Toyota has already recently done with their vaunted Lexus brand. (Many Lexus models that we see in the US and Canada are simply marketed as Toyotas in Japan.)

If anything I find the name "Acura" not that appealing. I also don't really care for the logo. I was originally going to buy a BMW, and when I test drove the TSX I just didn't feel like that would be fair to Honda. They've made a better car which is far more reliable than anything else in the world(alongside Toyota's Lexus) and as a consumer I feel obligated to give my business to them rather than a macho looking BMW salesman who thinks he's doing me a favor by allowing me to test-drive their overpriced unreliable car.

Like most folks here, if the TSX sold as a Honda came with the same engine, transmission, and features, I'd still have bought it. In fact, I'd almost rather it was a Honda; it probably would have been a couple grand less expensive.
I recently returned from a vacation in Europe and had the opportunity to see several cars just like our TSXes badged as Honda Accords.
